Mobile traveling application part 2

From the previous  post regarding mobile application, I was told that it needed some creative input of mine since the other one seems not very "creative". My lecturer also asked me to show that I have reference and try to apply it to my design. I took his advice and try to make a more presentable application.

My reference will be :

                         

This is Woodland Park Zoo application where they have many things about animals. I picked this because I think it suits my theme which is about parks. Though it is different but also at the same time it can be similar. Not only that it looks neat and presentable.

This is also another wildlife park application. Here I took the navigation button as my reference. It did not used all button here as I still follows a few things from my previous design.

This is how it looks like. It is simple yet ease to the eye. Moreover it is a more user friendly than the previous design

Here we can see the comparison of both and also I put as my other reference just in case I forget any detail I wanted to add in.

My color reference:

Took from http://colorschemedesigner.com, where I can play with the colors there and they will find the best suited color for the chosen color.

Besides that, font is also an important asset when it comes to designing.

These are a few I've chosen

Here I chose the last one, which is Artifika as it is easier to read and it gives the neat yet pretty feeling of fonts.
