Mobile traveling application part 2

From the previous  post regarding mobile application, I was told that it needed some creative input of mine since the other one seems not very "creative". My lecturer also asked me to show that I have reference and try to apply it to my design. I took his advice and try to make a more presentable application.

My reference will be :

This is Woodland Park Zoo application where they have many things about animals. I picked this because I think it suits my theme which is about parks. Though it is different but also at the same time it can be similar. Not only that it looks neat and presentable.

This is also another wildlife park application. Here I took the navigation button as my reference. It did not used all button here as I still follows a few things from my previous design.

This is how it looks like. It is simple yet ease to the eye. Moreover it is a more user friendly than the previous design

Here we can see the comparison of both and also I put as my other reference just in case I forget any detail I wanted to add in.

My color reference:

Took from http://colorschemedesigner.com, where I can play with the colors there and they will find the best suited color for the chosen color.

Besides that, font is also an important asset when it comes to designing.

These are a few I've chosen

Here I chose the last one, which is Artifika as it is easier to read and it gives the neat yet pretty feeling of fonts.

3D assignment 3

Similar to the previous assignment, which is the walk cycle, we are to make a walking from point A to B.

I started out by sketching the walk I want to do and after I got the approval, I start creating the simple environment first……

The requirement did not state 2 characters but I did it anyway. I think that having more than 1 would be more exciting and entertaining to watch.

So this is the character B trying to scare the character A, which A is suppose to be the timid one.

This was the initial story when it was previewed. I received comments from my friends and my lecturer gave an easier solution to my problem here. Here I can see that the scare did not give much impact.

This is my final. The lecturer gives suggestion on maybe the character A slap the other character, however I did him elbowed the character B instead. Also, I think that this is much cleaner in term of keyframes because the previous one was the keyframe are different in every body parts. It is definitely much shorter too.

3D second assignment (Walk cycle)

From robot, we move to human being. That is more key framing especially with the arms attached. In here, I try to put my human's personality as a "cool" guy.

3d First assignment

Our first project for 3d animation subject. It is much into depth and more about the character and rigging and etc comparing to the previous semester…..

We started our assignment with a robot without arms as an easier task for us beginners in animating since last semester was more into modelling.

Stopmotion with Momiji

For our final assignment in semester 2 (2D design), we are to make a stopmotion using our character we have created earlier in the very first assignment

Momiji awaked by a fluttering butterfly

Unfortunately he fell into the pond

The short story is about Momiji chasing a butterfly that woke him up. He was having fun until he trip and rolls of the cliff, into the pond.

The cat sound is by me

Retroscoping

Doing pose to pose using a normal images changed it to animation + character design

My character, Momiji the Autumn cat and I as self reference

Array shift (Randomizer)

Another series of Array, this time with a randomizer to change object item.

This is how it would look like (Outcome)

A new set of code to remember….
